We had a great picnic and park activation on 24 Sep. At Hueston Woods Sycamor Grove. It was well attended by members and family. We had plenty of beef on the Blackstone(Thanks Nathon) , Lots of carry in dishes and wonderful weather. sunny but not hot.
Jesse set up his portable station and contacts were made for Parks On The Air. We have had club picnics in the past but not on an annual basis. This was our second year for this event. Last year we did it in July and it was pretty hot and humid. This September date was much more pleasant. I hope we continue this as an annual event.
