Hamvention 2023,Has come and gone again.PARA was well represented at the event this year. I don’t know about everyone else but Hamvention is THE event of the year for me. After missing 2020 and 2021 for the shutdowns, Then missing 2022 because of family health issues, I Really needed this.And a great one it was.Its a time to see old friends and meet new ones.
Several of our group purchased some gear to recreate a station they had in their youth, Or found an interesting piece they had never seen before. I picked up a rig that I really liked back in the day but could not afford. A Ten-Tec Corsair II made in the very late 80s. I was in my 20s then with a house full of kids.
If you didn’t make it this year, I hope you get to next year. If you didn’t have fun, Well, You didn’t do it right.
